摘要
Abstract Exposure to airborne pollutants such as particulate matter 2.5 (PM2.5) can significantly affect public health through the initiation of deleterious inflammatory and oxidative cascades and has been linked to a variety of pathologies. We demonstrate a potential link between PM2.5 exposure and subsequent risk of aneurysmal subarachnoid hemorrhage, a devastating neurovascular disease with high rates of morbidity and mortality, in a cyclically exposed population in the U.S. Intermountain West.
