Tattoo Ink Localization Before Targeted Dissection of Axillary Lymph Nodes: Frequency of Success and Associated Factors

In patients who underwent tattoo ink localization of axillary lymph nodes before TAD, the target lymph node was localized intraoperatively and successfully resected in 94%, including 93% in patients who received NACT before ink localization. In patients who underwent SLNB, the inked node was not a sentinel node in 13%.
