The therapy of retention enema on 46 cases of radiation enteritis caused by radiotherapy of cervical cancer

Objective To explore the clinical effect of retention enema on radiation enteritis caused by radiotherapy of cervical cancer.Methods Clinical data of 46 cases of acute radiation enteritis occurred in radiotherapy of Cervical Cancer was analyzed.The 46 cases of radiation enteritis caused by radiotherapy of cervical cancer were treated by retention enema,and the clinical effect was observed.Results There were 26 cases(56.5%) of acute radiation enteritis was cured,17 cases were improved(37%),and 3 cases were invalid(6.5%).Conclusion The therapy of retention enema on radiation enteritis is safe and effective.
