Studies on Relationships Among Husk Agronomical Traits and Their Inheritances in Maize.

Relationships among agronomical traits of husk in maize were studied by correlation coeffrcient analysis Their genetic problems were discussed by analysis of combining ability.There is positive and significant correlation between numbers per husk and husk weight.Meanwhile the correlations among husk length,husk width,husk area and husk weight are positive and significant level.The five agronomical traits of husk are controlled by the additive inheritance effect,so they could be improved by selection of parents in maize breeding.
