We present experimental investigation of the shock wave and cavitation bubble after optical breakdown in water with Nd∶YAG laser pulses of 8ns.The experimental investigation of the laser-induced cavitation bubble expansion and collapse were done with high-speed video.The pressure acoustic signal generated by the cavitation bubble was detected with the high-frequency transducer.In general,good agreement was observed between the results of the calculations and the experimental data.It may serve as a tool for the optimization in the bubble study and applications.
