Study on the Relation between Seed Germination,Seedlings Development and Seed’s Thousand-grain Weight of Soybean and Maize

The influence of different seed's thousand-grain weight of soybean and maize on the germination percentage,the percentage of seedling emergence,the speed of seedling emergence and the percentage of seedling was studied.The results are that the higher the thousand-grain weight is,the higher the germination percentage,the percentage of seedling emergence and the percentage of seedling are,the quicker the speed of seedling emergence is and the better the seedling quality is.In addition,there is close correlation between the germination percentage and the percentage of seedling emergence,between the germination percentage and the percentage of seedling and between the percentage of seedling emergence and the percentage of seedling.
