Studies on the Antibacterial Activities of Extracts of nelumbo nucifera Gaertn

Objective This research intended to study the antibacterial activities of different solvents extracts of nelumbo nucifera Gaertn.Methods Various extracts were prepared from Nelumbo nucifera Gaertn,and the the minimal inhibitory concentration(MIC) and inhibitory circle of the extract were determined.Results The results showed that the antibacterial activity of the extracts was different toward different microbes.Conclusion The experimental date demonstrated that extracts of nelumbo nucifera Gaertn exhibited strong antibacterial activities.This research is benefit for further study and use of the Nelumbo nucifera Gaertn.
