The Application Study of Bispectral Index Method on Monitoring the Depth of Anaesthesia

Objective To investigate the effect of t bispectral index(BIS) method on monitoring the depth of anaesthesia.Methods 36 patients were chosen from June 2009 to June 2010.The coefficient of BIS and propofol target-controlled concentration were measured and the blood pressures of the cases were observed.Results BIS increased or decreased with the propofol target-controlled concentration,and it had a good correlation.The blood pressures of the cases were stable during the surgery.Conclusion Bispectral index had a good effect on monitoring the depth of anaesthesia.
