Osteopontin expression and regulation is essential for bone remodeling

This paper reviwed the structure of osteopontin(OPN),and its mRNA expression.Moreover,osteopontin was a negative regulator of proliferation and differentiation in osteoblasts,Osteopontin involved in bone remodeling and its effects on osteogenic potential of bone marrow-derived osteoblasts.
