Pueraria radix is a kind of Chinese medicine which is rich in polysaccharides. The research aims to analyze the antibacterial activity of Pueraria radix polysaccharides. The antimicrobial activities of Pueraria radix polysaccharides were determined with Flat hole-making method;and the minimal inhibitory concentrations(MIC) of Pueraria radix polysaccharides were determined with Tube method. The result showed that Pueraria radix could inhibit all experimental strains and it was more obviously inhibitory to bacillus subtleties with the MIC was 3 mg/mL.The research explained that Pueraria radix polysaccharides have definite antimicrobial activity.
