The Comparative Study of Two Antiserum Against β_2-Adrenergic Agonists

Objective:Through the comparative study,it give us the gist selecting antiserum and immunoassay method for detecting β2-adrenergic agonists.Methods:Two β2-adrenergic agonists,clenbuterol(CL)and salbutamol(Sal),were conjugated with carrier proteins by diazotization and EDC respectively.The rabbit were immunized with CL-BSA and Sal-BSA respectively for producting antiserum.The titer and specificity of antiserum were detected by indirect ELISA and indirect inhibitory ELISA.Results:The titers of two antiserum(anti-CL antiserum and anti-Sal antiserum)were 1:2 560 and 1:5 120 respectively.Anti-CL antiserum has 0.088% intercross with Sal,however anti-Sal antiserun has 200% intercross with CL.Conclusion:Sal complete antigen maybe is better preparing anti-serum for assaying CL.
