TECHNOLOGICAL EXPERIMENTS AND RESEARCH OF THREADING OPERATION FOR CONTINUOUS COLD ROLLING

Based on an analysis of threading operation for Baosteel's 2030 and 1420 continuous cold rolling mills,a new technology applied to the threading operation of 2030 cold rolling mill was developed.According to model computation using the on-site experimental data,suggestions to improve threading operation were given,which would be beneficial to reducing threading time and strip head loss.
