The mathematical modelling of
fluidized\|bed without the perforated\|plate has been studied.The fluidization expression given
by the has been used in tests and as a criteria of fluidization quality. A 0\^75m\|ID clear
plexiglass fluidized\|bed without the perforated\|plate was used for a amplificative simulator.
The computer and differential pressure transducer etc. were connected to the fluidized\|bed
without the perforated\|plate for processing data in a real\|time on\|line operation. Based on the
mathematical modelling, a 1\^2m\|ID commercial fluidized\|bed without the perforated\|plate
chlorinator has been designed for chlorinating titanium\|rich slag containing approximately 85%
TiO\-2, 6\^7% MgO and CaO impurites to produce TiCl\-4. The chlorinator has run continuously
for 55 days with a good fluidization.
