The relationship between growth differentiation factor-15 and neoplasms

Growth differentiation factor-15(GDF-15) is a member of the transforming growth factor-β(TGF-β) superfamily,involved in the physiological or pathological progression of tissue differentiation,inflammation,trauma and neoplasms. This article reviewed the structure of GDF-15,the relationship between GDF-15 expression and neoplasms development and progression,and the regulation of GDF-15 expression.
