Study on mineralogical phases of mold flux film and their influencing factors

Different kinds and shapes of mineralogical phases in the mold flux film were studied. Requirements to mold flux used for different steel grades were analyzed. The influences of cooling rate in the mold on flux crystallization ratio and the crystal size were discussed.
