Research progress on single redox flow battery

The huge demand for large-scaled energy storage makes the development potential of the redox flow battery immense,and gives birth to the single redox flow battery.In this article,the inheriting relationship between the single redox flow battery and the redox flow battery,and the significance of the single redox flow battery were briefly reviewed.Some basic situations of five kinds of single redox flow batteries were described,respectively,which included the development and working principle of these batteries.The battery's performance and the existing problems were briefly analyzed.Finally the future developing prospects about the battery was pointed out.
