摘要
In article number 1900652 by Monojit Chakraborty, Justin A. Weibel, James A. Schaber, and Suresh V. Garimella, direct three-dimensional confocal imaging is performed to reveal the wetting state of water on a rose petal. An energy-minimization-based model, in combination with the experimental observations, indicates a unique wetting state with the presence of trapped air beneath the droplet between the micro-papillae.
