Selective Al 3+ and Fe 3+ detection using imidazole–oxadiazole sensors: bioimaging evidence from zebrafish

This study presents TIMF, a novel chemosensor for Al 3+ and Fe 3+ detection. TIMF displays high selectivity, rapid response, and low cytotoxicity. Spectroscopic and DFT studies confirm its sensitivity, with successful in vitro and in vivo applications.
