The electromagnetic induction coil propulsion device has advantages such as high efficiency, fast acceleration, and is conducive to advancing larger loads. Therefore, electromagnetic induction coil propulsion devices have become a research hotspot both domestically and internationally in recent years. This article designs a multi-stage electromagnetic induction coil propulsion device and constructs its system equivalent circuit equation. The electromagnetic performance of the electromagnetic induction coil propulsion device is analyzed and calculated from the electromagnetic performance of the armature material, armature structure, and other aspects. It was found that when the volume of the armature is constant, high conductivity is more conducive to armature acceleration. Double layer armature has better acceleration effect than cylindrical armature. This lays the foundation for the optimization design of the subsequent multi-stage electromagnetic induction coil propulsion device.
