Anomalous redshifted emission in Pt( ii ) vs. Ir( iii ) complexes with identical ligands and the application of these complexes in high-efficiency OLEDs

Unlike conventional trends, Pt( ii ) complexes show red-shifted emission compared to Ir( iii ) complexes with the same ligand, with the OLED efficiency reaching up to 20.3%.
