gamma‐secretase is a proteolytic complex involved in development and implicated in the etiology of Alzheimer’s disease. We recently developed a conditional knockout mouse in which gamma‐secretase was specifically deleted from oligodendrocytes, the myelinating cells of the brain. The conditional knockout mouse had a profound neurological phenotype, including hyperactivity and decreased prepulse inhibition. Here, we use RNA‐seq to compare the transcriptional profiles of conditional knockout and control mice in an effort to identify a set of candidate genes that may explain the complex neurological phenotype of our conditional knockout mouse.
