Abstract In order to ensure the reliable and stable operation of the gas drainage system and ensure the safe production of coal mines, a gas drainage monitoring system is designed. The monitoring system adopts Siemens S7-1500 series PLC as the core control unit. By configuring function modules and cooperating with WinCC configuration software to carry out the program design of the upper computer, the one-key control and automatic regulating of the gas drainage system is realized. The monitoring system adopts smart sensors, and improves the anti-interference ability of the system through digital signal transmission, adopts PID and cascade PID advanced control strategies to control the flow and pressure, and improves the regulating accuracy of the drainage system, adopts the limit threshold method and data mutation method combined with early warning reduces the unplanned shutdown of the drainage pump and improves the working efficiency of the drainage pump.
