Dynamics of arbitrary shaped propellers driven by a rotating magnetic field

A general theory of the dynamics of an arbitrary magnetic object actuated by a rotating magnetic field is presented that rationalizes experimentally observed transport of geometrically achiral propellers. The propellers may acquire apparent chirality owing to the magnetic field and propel similarly to helices.
