摘要
As a new reinforcement method, using a new composite structure to reinforce the segment has such advantages as lightweight, fast, high strength, safety and durability. The new composite structure is a kind of prefabricated component and can be produced largely in the factory. This paper focuses on the mechanical behavior and failure form of the RC segment reinforced with the new structure. The ultimate bearing capacity and the deformation properties of the reinforced segment are better than the universal segment. The new composite structure breaks away from the segment without breaking before the failure of the segment. The concrete crushes after yielding and the bolt yield sand breaks due to the stress redistributing. The results indicate that the new composite structure can improve the bearing capacity and the deformation properties of the segment significantly. The separation between the segment and the new composite structure is caused by the failure of the binder. Improving the bond properties between the new composite structure and segment may be a feasible method to increase the ultimate bearing capacity of the reinforced segment.
