Clinical usage of honey as a wound dressing: an update

Since Molan last covered this topic in Journal of Wound Care, there have been advances in the selection of honey for use in wound care, based on its antibacterial properties, and in clinical protocols for its use. This paper examines woundhealing results achieved with honey in the past fi ve years, the extent of its use and practical issues relating to its clinical use.
