Les formes du paradigme social dans l'écriture d'Annie Ernaux

L’écriture d’Annie Ernaux, ici celle des Années, met formellement en œuvre l’implication du sujet au sein d’un paradigme social. La matière narrative est constituée d’un espace-temps collectif, d’un fonds mémoriel partagé, d’identités plus sociales que personnelles. Les repré­sen­ta­tions sont déplacées vers une classe d’équivalence par l’inclusion du singulier dans le général, par une neutralisation et, enfin, par une continuité, quand les individus parais­sent interchangeables. Le lien social se tisse dans la mise en discours du vécu : dans des listes, qui articulent l’intime et le collectif, dans une énonciation partagée des choses et, surtout, dans l’acte de faire un récit. Annie Ernaux's writing, here the one from the Years, formally accomplishes the implication of the subject within a social paradigm. The narrative matter is made of a collective space-time, a shared memory-based core, identities more social than personal. The social representations are moved towards an equivalence class by the inclusion of the singular into the general, by a neutralization and, finally, by a continuity, when individuals seem interchangeable. The social link is formed in making a speech based on experience: in the lists, which articulate the intimate and the community, in a shared enunciation of things and, especially, in the act of building a story.
