The Progress in Rodent Models of Hyperuricemia

To establish an ideal animal model of hyperuricemia is needed to explore the pathogenesis machanism and find a drug to control and treat the hyperuricemia. Scientist have made certain progress for the study of animal model of hyperuricemia. And in these models,rodents were chose greatly. To manufacture the rodent model of hyperuricemia,the theory of increasing the source of the uric acid,reducing uric acid excretion and inhibiting uricase were used. This review will summarize the choice of rodents,induced drugs and the methods.
