Development of Electrorheological and Magnetorheological Materials

The study of intelligent materials and devices based on intelligent materials is one of the important fields in today's high-tech materials research. Electrorheological(ER) and magnetorheological(MR) materials including ER fluids and MR fluids is one of embranchments of intelligent materials.In this paper, the characteristics,applications and the latest developments of ER and MR materials are given in brief.
