Based on the field test,taking the main crop in HeTao irrigation area,maize,as research object,the irrigation schedule under dual well-channel irrigation is studied in this paper.The results show that Jensen model can well express the water quantitative relationship of maize of all treatments in the growth period under dual well-channel irrigation in this area.The maize need 4 times irrigation during the whole period and the irrigation amount is 300 mm.The growth period suitable for well irrigation is tasseling stage and flowering stage and the irrigation amount is 75 mm,while the channel irrigation is suitable for the other growth periods.This irrigation schedule can not only guarantee the maize's water demand but also release the water deficiency of the yellow river.It provide theoretical basis for the development of well-channel irrigation model in HeTao irrigation district.
