Preparation of sulfates using waste alkaline zinc-manganese battery

Deionized water,20% H_2SO_4 solution,and a mixture of 10% H_2SO_4-H_2O_2 were chosen as three kinds of leaching agents.Using different leaching agents,the main metals including K,Zn,and Mn were extracted step by step from waste alkaline zinc-manganese batteries.And the corresponding sulfates were also prepared by segmented leaching solution.Therefore potassium sulfate,manganese zinc sulfate compound,and manganese sulfate were prepared using the three-stage leaching process,respectively.The leaching rates of K,Zn and Mn were all above 98%.
