Objective
To explore the effect of different drug administration time on blood pressure circadian rhythm in elderly patients with hypertension.
Methods
A total of 100 elderly patients with hypertension were randomly divided into treatment group (54 cases) and control group (46 cases) according to their medication status.The treatment group received amlodipine besylate in the morning and enalapril maleate in the evening under the condition of nursing intervention.The control group was treated with amlodipine besylate and enalapril maleate for 8 weeks.
Results
Before treatment, there were no significant differences in mean systolic blood pressure and mean arterial pressure between the two groups(P>0.05). After treatment, the reduction of 24 hSBP, nSBP , dDBP and nDBP in the treatment group was better than that in the control group(P<0.05). There were statistically significant differences in the number of patients with non-arytenoid mode changing to arytenoid mode after treatment in the treatment group(P<0.05).
Conclusion
Nursing intervention at different times can regulate blood pressure circadian rhythm changes in patients with hypertension, but the combination of morning and evening gowns is more effective in regulating blood pressure circadian rhythm, inhibiting the morning peak phenomenon and conducive to the transformation of blood pressure type, which is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
