Cobalt pyrophosphate (Co2P2O7) derived from an open-framework cobalt phosphite: a durable electroactive material for electrochemical energy conversion and storage application

Through a single step method, the partially graphitized cobalt pyrophosphate (GC-CPP) is synthesized from an inorganic open-framework cobalt phosphite and shown to catalyze the OER efficiently and store charge in alkaline medium.
