Polarization-dependence of the Raman response of free-standing strained Ce0.8Gd0.2O2 membranes

Polarization-dependent measurements show that the Raman signal of free-standing strained GDC membranes is a superposition of three modes originating from the F_2g mode. Thus, a different average Raman shift is found for the light polarizations used.
