Current Protocols is issuing corrections for the following Protocol article. Gavira-O'Neill, C. E., Dong, J.-X, & Trimmer, J. S. (2020). Development, screening, and validation of camelid-derived nanobodies for neuroscience research. Current Protocols in Neuroscience, 94, e107. https://doi.org/10.1002/cpns.107 In the above referenced article, the following errors in the Basic Protocol 2 and Basic Protocol 3 are being corrected. In Basic Protocol 2, Materials List, the concentration of primers appears as: “50 mM primers for VHH and VH repertoire PCR (Table 1)”. The correction version appears as: “50 μM primers for VHH and VH repertoire PCR (Table 1)”. In Basic Protocol 2, Step 9, the concentration of primers in the table appears as: “Forward primer (50 mM), Reverse primer (50 mM)”. The correction version appears as: “Forward primer (50 μM), Reverse primer (50 μM)”. In Basic Protocol 3, Step 5 reads: “5. Prepare separate tubes for the transformation reactions as follows:” The correction version appears as: “5. Prepare separate tubes for the ligation reactions as follows:”. In Basic Protocol 3, Step 5, the amounts of pComb3XSS and VH fragments in the ligation mix step are listed as “∼150 µg” and “∼53 µg”, respectively. The correction version changes the amount of pComb3XSS and VH fragments in the ligation mix step to “∼150 ng” and “∼53 ng”, respectively. The current version online includes these corrections and may be considered the authoritative version of record.
