摘要
Transition metal-based electrocatalysts for the hydrogen evolution reaction (HER) have obtained more attention because of its key role in boosting the production of hydrogen from water electrolysis. However, searching for the catalysts with abundant active and durable is still a challenge. Herein, two-dimensional (2D) bimetallic sulfoselenide nanosheets supported on nickel foam (NiSe0.1MoS6.4/NF-P123) are facilely designed via a one-step hydrothermal method. Particularly, Pluronic P123 and Mo7O246− as morphology-controlling reagents are employed to tailor nanosheet structure. Benefiting from the well-dispersed nanosheets, the modified electronic property by simultaneously introducing S and Se, and the synergistic effect between Ni and Mo, the obtained resultant NiSe0.1MoS6.4/NF-P123 exhibits outstanding HER performances with a low overpotential of 182 mV at 100 mA cm−2 and excellent long-term stability in alkaline media. Besides, it also demonstrates fast HER kinetics, low charge transfer resistance and high electrochemically active surface area compared to monometallic sulfide/ selenide. This work based on a one-step hydrothermal method offers a simple strategy to develop economical and efficient bimetallic sulfoselenide as HER catalysts for electrochemical energy devices.
