Pressure elucidates self-trapped exciton emissions and piezochromism in hybrid copper halides

High pressure elucidates the STE emission mechanism in (TBA) 2 Cu 4 Br 6 and converts its piezochromic behavior from high linear sensitivity (56.7 nm GPa −1 ) to a wide reversible range of 192 nm from orange to blue.
