摘要
We herein report a visible light photochemical radical iodinative amidation protocol by the utilization of iodoform as the iodine atom source and unsaturated carboxylic acid derived secondary amide as the substrate. The iodine atom was generated by the homolytic cleavage of a C─I bond of iodoform and initiated a cascade transformation toward γ-lactam derivatives. Compared with previous di-functionalization approach for the synthesis of γ-lactams, the present protocol with the advantages of high functional group tolerance, simple reaction conditions, as well as without transition metal requirement.
