Determination of Tetrandrine and Fangchinoline in Xixianfengshi Tablet by HPLC

Objective To establish an HPLC method for the determination of tetrandrine and fangchinoline in Xixianfengshi tablets.Methods The method was performed on C18(4.6 mm×150 mm,5 μm) column with acetonitrile-water-triethylamin(70 : 30 : 0.1) as mobile phase.Flow rate was 1.0 mL/min,and the wavelength was 280 nm.Results The linear ranges of tetrandrine and fangchinoline were 0.344 μg~1.72 μg(r=0.999 9),0.153 μg~0.765 μg(r=0.999 9),respectively.The average recovery were 99.20% and 99.26%,respectively,Conclusion This method is proved to be simple,accurate and can be used for quality control of Xixianfengshi tablets.
