Application of Long Tube Coring and Core Treatment Technique in Urikhtau Oil Field

Urikhtau oil field is the principal oil and gas formation in Pre-Caspian Basin Aktobe,the Great Wall drilling company has found high yield industrial hydrocarbon flow in the region during drilling well y-1.The discovery makes Urikhtau field become the first largest field in Kazakhstan,the potential petroleum reserves is about 200 million ton.GWDC coring applies long tube coring and core treatment technique in Urikhtau oil field,has performed the task to pursue hydrocarbon advisably and efficiently,the drilling cycle has also been shorten.In this article,the profile of Urikhtau region was introduced as well as influencing factors and the construction scheme of the long tube coring process.The application results show that the long tube coring and core treatment technique can fit the region.
