Objective:To compare the affect of laparoscopic and open surgery on stress response of the patients with ovarian cysts.Methods:63 patients with ovarian cysts were randomly divided into the laparoscopic group and the open surgery group.The levels of serum thyroid hormone and the cortisol of the 63 patients were detected before 1day of the surgery,after 1day and 3day of the surgery.Results:The levels of TT3 and TT4 were increased rapidly after 1day of the surgery in the laparoscopic group and open surgery group while TSH and cortisol were increased rapidly.The levels of cortisol and thyroid hormone were recovered faster and well compared with open surgery.Conclusion:Laparoscopic surgery has less stress stimulate to the body compared with the open surgery,and the laparoscopic surgery is a safe and effective treatment for the patients with ovarian cysts.
