Three europium(Ⅲ) complexes of α-thenoyltrifluoroacetone(HTTA) with benzoic acid(BA) or its two derivatives,p-toluic acid(PTA) and p-methoxybenzoic acid(POA),and trioctylphosphine oxide(TPPO) were synthesized,and their composition and structure was investigated.The fluorescence spectra of the solid phosphor were studied at ambient temperature.The experimental result showed that the fluorescence of Eu(Ⅲ)-HTTA-POA-TPPO is stronger than that of Eu(Ⅲ)-HTTA-BA(PTA)-TPPO.Relative cheap sharp red luminescent materials have been prepared.
