Clinical observation of treatment of acute wisdom teeth periodontitis by tinidazole rod

[Objective] To observe the clinical effects of Tinidazole rod in treating acute wisdom teeth periodontitis and compared with infaking Tinidazole. [Methods] 222 cases were randomly divided into 2 groups, locally washed by 3% hydrogen dioxide solution and saline water and dryed. In Tinidazole rod group patients were instilled Tinidazole rod 1 time one day, totally 3 times, and in Tinidazole group:patients were taken orally Tinidazole 2g in frist day, then 1g in other day, totally 3 day. [Results] The effective rate of Tinidazole rod group, Tinidazole infaking group were respectively 93.22% and 71.15%, and these was a statistical significance between two groups (P 0.05) through statistical process. [Conclusion] Tinidazole rod is a simple, safe and effective method in treating acute wisdom teeth periodontitis.
