Study on typical data of dynamic shear modulus ratio and damping ratio from the southern Fujian province, the recommended value of dynamic shear modulus ratio and damping ratio is concluded. And the site earthquake response analysis with horizontal—layered soil are analyzed by ESE software, The paper discussed the effects of the variability of soil dynamic parameters, including soil dynamic shear modulus ratio,damping ratio and shear velocity, on peak value of ground surface acceleration and its response spectra of engineering sites.The results would give some references to guide the determination of the ground motion parameters in seismic safety evaluation work.
