A study on anti-penetration characteristics of SFRC with single layer of tightly arrayed corundum spheres

In this paper, the long rod projectile penetrating into SFRC with corundum spheres is simulated by the finite element analysis method. It is find that the SFRC with corundum spheres can reduce the depth of penetration. The location and the position of the corundum spheres are important for anti-penetration ability.
