Determination of the Content of Ursolic Acid in Prunella vulgaris L. by Dual Wavelength TLC-Scanning

Objective To determine the content of ursolic acid in Prunella vulgaris L.Methods TLC-Scanning method.Results Ursolic acid had a good linear relationship with peak area score when its sample size was within the range of 0.314~1.570 μg(r=0.999 2),the average recovery was 99.3%.Conclusion This method can be served as a quality control method for Prunella vulgaris L.
