Research progress of epoxy resin modified by toughening

The epoxy resin(EP) with excellent combination property was abroad used in various fields. The research progresses of EP modified by toughening(including rubbers,thermoplastics,liquid crystalline polymer,interpenetrating polymer networks,nano-filler and other toughening modified methods) were summarized. The main development trends of EP modified by toughening were indicated.
