Objective To investigate the clinical value of three-dimensional ultrasonography in the diagnosis of anterior abdominal wall defects in fetus.Methods Two-dimensional(2D) and three-dimensional(3D) ultrasonography were applied to observe the development of anterior abdominal wall in fetuses in 917 cases at gestational week from 18 to 38 weeks.The detectable rates of anterior abdominal wall in fetuses at different gestational week between 2D and 3D ultrasonography were compared.Results The displaying rate of anterior abdominal wall by 3D ultrasonography was lower compared to 2D ultrasonography(P0.05).With the increase of gestational weeks,and amniotic fluid decrease tended to decline.23 cases anterior abdominal wall defet were found in 20 ultrasonography,one case omphalocele wasn't found.one case omphalocele misdiagosis as gastroschisis,diagnosis rate was 95.8% and accuracy rate was 91.7%.The unterior abdominal wall defects were found in 24 cases,3D ultrasound anterior abdominal wall defect diagnosis rate was 100%;one case omphalocele misdiagnosed as gastroschisis,diagnosis accuracy rate was 95.8%.The omphalocele 17 cases,gastroschisis 7 cases.Conclusion The combination of 2D and 3D ultrasonography contributes to the diagnosis of anterior abdominal wall defects in fetus.
