An Analysis of Road Transport Resource Share Rate in Beijing

In order to learn how the urban transportation infrastructures have been utilized, the concept of share rate of transport resources was introduced to characterize the full-day operation of vehicles in the whole road network.With specific study of Beijing's statistics and traffic survey data inthe past years, the road share rate of different transport modes including public transport, cars and taxis in terms of public transport structures, mileage, travel time and screen line vehicle types proportion in traffic, in 2000 and 2005 were calculated.
