摘要
We present here an iron-catalyzed oxidative Csp3–Csp3 bond cleavage of unstrained tertiary alkyl aromatics to provide a range of synthetically useful arylketones even with H2O2 as the oxidant. This method is operationally simple, scalable, and eco-friendly, as well as suitable for the late-stage oxidation of complex molecules bearing hydroxy groups, making it a valuable tool in organic synthesis.
