摘要
This study presents an automated colorimetric detection system that overcomes the limitations of manual biomarker analysis by integrating a TCS34725 RGB sensor with Arduino Nano processing for objective, real-time diagnostics. The portable device captures test strip color changes, processes RGB data through calibrated algorithms, and displays results (<3 seconds) on an OLED screen with 96% accuracy relative to laboratory standards. By eliminating human interpretation errors, the system improves reliability while maintaining cost-effectiveness (<$50) and low power consumption (8–10-hour battery life). Validations demonstrated consistent performance across varying lighting conditions through software-based calibration with brightness normalization and hue correction. The current implementation focuses on pH detection but features expandable architecture for multiplexed biomarker analysis. With applications in point-of-care diagnostics, food safety, and environmental monitoring, this platform enables accessible testing in resource-limited settings. Future development will incorporate machine learning for adaptive calibration, IoT connectivity for cloud-based data logging, and mobile integration to enhance remote diagnostic capabilities, positioning the system as a versatile solution for decentralized testing needs.
